You are sleeping in the middle of the arctic nature, under warm blankets with the warm fireplace, while you are looking at the magical dancing northern light above you. Sit down in our comfortable chairs, look at our landmark “the original icon of wild caribou”, take a hike in the nature or center you thoughts.

The place – This is a very cozy place in the middle of the arctic nature, without streetlights. Our private home is close by. You can reach this place with a car, and it’s just a couple of minuts away from the parking place to the dome. Since you are in the wild nature, you can get a visit from reindeers and deers. Access for the guests – The rent includes breakfast, toilet facilities (not shower), free WIFI, entrance to the landmark and cuddling with the polar dogs. You will have free access to our book series “100 things to do and see in Porsanger”, our souvenir shop and our silver shop. Free pickup at the airport.

Interactions with the guests – We are happy to interact with our guests, and you will be a part of our family and polar dogs. You can come to us with questions if you want.

The arctic night is from November to February and it’s in this period you will have the best chances to see the northern light. From may to august we have the midnight sun. Then you will not see the northern light, but the green nature and wild life. Take with you warm clothing, slippers for the tent, a good camera for impressive pictures and a tripod for northern light pictures.
